Job summary

Classic Collision seeks an Auto Body Technician to disassemble, assess, and repair damaged vehicles to restore safety and quality. You will work with estimators, remove damaged components, repair and reassemble, and ensure all work meets industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and planning a 100% repair.
• Ensure identified repairs are completed to minimize supplements and time.
• Plan work procedure following work orders for all operations.
• Remove upholstery and access damaged areas; store parts to prevent damage.
• Mend damaged panels and replace parts; weld and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools including welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, sander, spray guns.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
