Job summary

Driven Autobody Shop in South Sioux City, NE is seeking an Auto Body Technician to join our hands-on collision repair team. You will restore damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition by following manufacturer procedures and repair standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in collision repair is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
• Ability to learn and follow vehicle manufacturer repair procedures.
• Dependable, adaptable and able to work in a busy shop environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles as needed to identify collision damage and develop a repair plan.
• Complete collision repairs according to plan, manufacturer procedures and industry standards.
• Inspect incoming parts against the repair plan and ensure correct parts are available.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cutting equipment, sanders, spray equipment and other shop tools as required.
• Communicate with management regarding repair issues or changes affecting quality or completion time.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, including storage of tools and parts.
• Follow shop safety procedures and use PPE.
• Assist with general shop duties including vehicle washing and shop cleanup.
• Perform other duties related to collision repair as assigned.
