Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled Body Technician at our Bellevue, NE location. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform quality body work to restore safety and aesthetics.

This on-site role requires collaboration with team members and adherence to production timelines. You should have experience with frame machines, be comfortable supervising an apprentice when needed, and be prepared to obtain or maintain I-CAR welding certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle body repair processes and procedures.
• Frame machine operation and alignment knowledge.
• Certified or willing to obtain I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to supervise apprentices and communicate repair plans.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
• Understanding of safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicles and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides between repair or replacement considering safety and cost.
• Removes upholstery and trim to access areas.
• Directs apprentices and explains procedures.
• Participates in required safety meetings.
