Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier repairs and exceptional customer service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition while upholding our speed, quality and customer-excellence standards.

Collaborate with a team, estimate repair work, and use tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters to ensure work orders meet labor guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with others in the auto body shop.
• Understand methods to repair vehicle bodies and how to use trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass.
• Weld/attach parts and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
