Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Missouri seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

In this role you will work with team members to achieve repair KPIs and serve as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with other repairers in the shop.
• Thorough understanding of auto body repair methods and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restoration levels.
• Realign chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and inspect vehicles to meet quality standards.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and verify outcomes.
