Job summary

Chiltonautobody in Huntington Beach, CA seeks a Parts Coordinator to manage parts ordering, receiving, and processing throughout the repair cycle. You will work closely with the Location Manager, Estimators, and Body Technicians to ensure timely availability of parts.

Responsibilities include monitoring deliveries, verifying part quality, returning incorrect items, and posting invoices daily. Preferred candidates have 1 year of parts experience in collision repair and CCC One experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the team to meet shared objectives.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Order parts based on estimates and supplements using the company ordering platform.
• Track parts status and communicate with Location Manager and Estimators.
• Receive and check in delivered parts; ensure they are tagged with the correct work order number.
• Initiate returns for incorrect parts and ensure daily posting of invoices/credits.
• Assist in monthly vendor reconciliation and complete assigned training.
