Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Collision Parts Coordinator to assist collision technicians and estimators in sourcing and distributing the correct parts for vehicles under repair. You will ensure accurate parts billing, inspect received parts, and manage out-of-stock orders to support efficient workflow.

Role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of parts experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. 10-Key data entry and computer linking to the accounting system are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Two years of parts experience.
• 10-Key and Alpha-Numeric data entry using computer systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist collision center estimators with acquiring required and correct parts for work in process vehicles.
• Assist in distribution of parts to body technician to expedite workflow.
• Ensure parts are charged and linked to the collision management system for billing.
• Inspect each part received for accuracy and damage.
• Return unused parts within 30 days of receipt and stay updated on new products.
