Job summary

Kinetic is seeking a temporary Collision Estimator who blends technical collision estimating with customer advocacy. You’ll assess damage virtually, identify ADAS calibration needs, and ensure repair plans meet high standards.

This role emphasizes precision with imaging and estimating platforms, delivering accurate estimates that build trust, efficiency, and safety. Although listed as temporary, performance reviews after three months may lead to full-time conversion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in collision estimating or auto claims adjusting.
• Proven success in delivering exceptional customer service in a B2B collision repair environment.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE, Mitchell, and Audatex software.
• Strong multitasking skills for virtual desk review operations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• I-CAR and/or ASE certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, training, and industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with car owners, collision center partners, and internal teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on collision estimating, repair planning, and ADAS calibration.
• Review high-resolution photos, scan reports, and facts of loss to produce accurate estimates.
• Use CCC ONE, Audatex, and/or Mitchell to ensure estimates are precise and documented.
• Audit repair plans for OEM procedure compliance, labor times, and parts evaluation.
• Understand and apply insurance carrier requirements for alignment and compliance.
• Analyze trends in estimate quality, documentation, supplements, and repair outcomes.
• Provide feedback to internal teams to improve workflows, technology, and customer processes.
• Support the development of Kinetic's estimating platforms and training initiatives.
