Job summary

The Boyd Group is hiring an Estimator at Gerber Collision & Glass in Euless, TX. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and coordinating repairs with customers and insurers.

You will work with DRP programs and insurance partners, maintain communication, and contribute to facility KPIs. A strong emphasis on service, accuracy, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills and DRP knowledge are preferred.
• Eligible to complete I-CAR training.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions with details
• Provide accurate information and guide customers through repair process
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and metrics
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for drop-offs, planning, and communication
• Communicate customer requests to team members
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers
• Understand required insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily production walks with management
• Support team members as needed
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings
• Attend training sessions and workshops

Gerber Collision & Glass - Euless, TX Prior DRP Experience with Start Farm All State, and USAA Preferred 2-3 Years Minimum prior CCC1 experience preferred 1-2 years prior experience general ledger: accounts receivables/payables preferred 3-4 years prior experience in customer service excellence required

The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.

The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility’s KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience

Compensation Details

Compensation: Estimated $55,000 - $100,000+ / Year Commission Compensation is commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience. In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater. Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
