Job summary

Action Collision is seeking an experienced Collision Estimator for a high-volume, state-of-the-art repair center in Maryland. You will manage vehicle intake, write precise repair plans, and act as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and insurance providers.

Based on experience, the role offers a dynamic environment with extensive OEM certifications and a strong focus on delivering high-quality repairs, precision planning, and excellent customer communication throughout the repair

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of estimating experience in a high-volume shop.
• CCC ONE estimating software proficiency required.
• I-CAR Platinum and OEM certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience with high-end OEM certification programs (Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, RIVIAN, Porsche) is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and identify damage.
• Write precise repair plans and guide repair scopes.
• Negotiate insurance supplements to maintain high-volume workflow.
• Communicate repair progress clearly with customers.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure blueprinting accuracy and parts efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles thoroughly to identify all primary and secondary damage.
• Leverage OEM repair procedures to ensure factory-certified repair standards.
• Negotiate insurance supplements efficiently to maintain high volume workflow.
• Communicate repair progress transparently with customers throughout the process.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure blueprinting accuracy and parts efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience : Minimum 3–5 years of estimating experience in a high-volume shop.
• Software : Proficiency with CCC ONE estimating and management systems is required.
• Certifications : I-CAR Platinum and OEM certifications are highly preferred.
• OEM Knowledge : Experience working with high-end OEM certification programs (e.g., Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, RIVIAN, Porsche) is a major plus.
• Traits : Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
