Job summary

Atlantic Emergency Solutions in Baltimore, MD is seeking an automotive body technician to repair and rebuild cabinets and chassis, align panels, and perform general body work on fire trucks and ambulances in a hands-on shop setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, physical fitness, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening; steady daytime hours, no rotating shifts, and OT available with benefits including health coverage and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Body work, preferably with heavy trucks or emergency vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Minor to major collision repair
• Cab and chassis reconstruction and body fabrication according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Removal of damaged fenders, panels, and grills
• Using wrenches and cutting equipment
• Filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces
• Using power tools and hand tools
• Aiming headlights and aligning body panels

$25.00 - $45.00

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Overtime is available
• No rotating shifts
• Paid holidays (no waiting period)

• Primary work environment is an indoor service and maintenance shop, with occasional field or outdoor work as needed.
• Specialty work on fire trucks and ambulances
