BMW of Fairfax, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking an experienced Collision Center Assistant Manager. The role leads daily operations, schedules internal collision work, and directs technicians and detailers to ensure timely, quality service.

You will oversee productivity, manage used-car RO processes, parts coordination, and sublet tracking while maintaining high standards and adherence to policy. Excellent supervisory and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Attend trade walks daily and coordinate a fast-moving workflow.
• Schedule all internal collision work and manage RO assignments.
• Direct and dispatch technicians and detailers on specified RO’s.
• Create and maintain schedules for collision technicians and associates.
• Monitor productivity reports and payroll records daily.
• Facilitate writing and booking all Used Car RO’s.
• Order parts and bill out parts for used vehicles.
• Coordinate sublets and track progress across jobs.
• Post sublets to the correct RO and track status.
• Maintain 3–5 day turnaround times for service and detailing.
• Ensure vendor repairs align with negotiated pricing.
• Forecast department goals and drive performance.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate collision staff.
