Job summary

BMW OF Fairfax, a Sonic Automotive dealership, is seeking a Collision Department Manager to lead the collision team, schedule internal work, and coordinate technicians and associates. You will oversee daily operations, ensure timely completion, monitor productivity, and drive guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, training, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high reconditioning standards while aligning with company goals.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Attend trade walks daily.
• Schedule all internal collision work.
• Direct and dispatch technicians and/or detailers specified RO’s.
• Create and maintain schedule for collision technicians and other associates.
• Monitors daily productivity reports and payroll records.
• Facilitate writing and booking all Used Car RO’s.
• Monitor parts orders and vendor pricing to ensure availability and cost control.
• Maintain timelines for service and detail/reconditioning work.
• Lead and develop the collision department staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policy.
