Qualifications

• Management experience in automotive collision center or body shop.
• Leads a team of 15–20 employees.
• Strong understanding of collision repair processes, estimating, production management, and quality control.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and profitability.
• Knowledge of insurance claims, repair authorizations, and supplements.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with collision center management systems and estimating software.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction, employee development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collision center daily operations from intake through delivery.
• Lead a team of 18–20 employees including technicians, estimators, and admin staff.
• Monitor repair cycle times, technician productivity, workflow, and overall production.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, expenses, profitability, and KPIs.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs, industry standards, and quality expectations.
• Oversee customer communications and resolve escalated concerns.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for estimates, approvals, and timely repairs.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Identify workflow improvements to reduce bottlenecks and boost performance.
• Track metrics like labor hours, sales, gross profit, cycle time, customer satisfaction, and repair quality.
• Develop strategies to increase repair volume and strengthen referrals.
