Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking a skilled Body Shop Assistant Manager to join our expanded team in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, build strong relationships with insurance companies and fleet providers, and perform damage assessments with detailed repair cost estimates.

The role requires 2+ years in a collision center, knowledge of the repair process, and the ability to handle high volumes. A valid license and strong customer service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Collision Center or Auto Body Shop.
• Experience with collision estimation or insurance adjusting is required.
• Knowledge of the collision repair process.
• Ability to handle high volumes and work under pressure.
• Experience maintaining a fast-paced workflow in a collision shop.
• Proficiency with collision management software (preferred).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, fleet providers, and manufacturers.
• Perform vehicle damage assessments and create detailed repair cost estimates.
• Prepare accurate damage reports efficiently.
• Assist in managing shop production costs and workflow.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on daily tasks and dispatches using computerized systems.
• Provide support and assistance to employees as needed.
