Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a skilled Collision Body Technician to perform vehicle repairs per repair orders and standards. You will address body work, welding, frame alignment, and unibody repairs while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• ICAR certification or interest in becoming certified.
• OEM certification or interest in becoming certified.
• At least two years’ automotive experience.
• Must have a valid, in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with accuracy.
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts.
• Assess vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
• Perform all body repairs according to the estimate, including welding, soldering, frame alignment, and unibody work.
• Operate collision center equipment safely and productively, following safety standards and PPE usage.
• Inspect all work as a Quality Control measure once jobs are completed.
• Mix chemicals per manufacturer directions/specifications.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations affecting Collision Center operations.
• Grow product knowledge to provide high-quality repairs.
