Job summary

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Body Shop Technician to join our Collision Harrisburg team. You will evaluate collision damage and perform body repairs on vehicles, testing and inspecting to determine structural and cosmetic damage while collaborating with the estimator to price repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; collision training preferred.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to understand manufacturer's specifications.
• Selected candidate must be able to perform bending, standing, lifting and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate collision damage and perform body repair on vehicles.
• Test and inspect vehicles to determine structural, body, mechanical and interior damage.
• Work with the estimator to determine repair costs.
• Repair to the vehicle may include straightening bent bodies, replacing body parts, removing dents and refinishing metal with various tools.
