As a Body Shop Technician, you will evaluate collision damage, perform body repairs, and work with the estimator to determine repair costs. On-the-job training and air-conditioned collision centers support productive, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate collision damage and perform body repair on vehicles.
• Test and inspect vehicles to determine structural, body, mechanical and interior damage.
• Collaborate with the estimator to determine repair costs.
• Repair operations include straightening bent bodies, replacing parts, removing dents and refinishing metal using various tools.

As a Body Shop Technician, you will be tasked with evaluating collision damage and performing body repair on vehicles. This process begins with testing and checking vehicles to determine the amount of structural, body, mechanical and interior damage. You will also work with the estimator to determine the cost of the repair. Repairs to the vehicle may include straightening bent bodies, replacing body parts, removing dents and damaged panels and refinishing the metal using a variety of tools. Collision experience is preferred, but we will consider graduates from respected automotive collision programs as well. All of our Collision Centers are air-conditioned to ensure the comfort of our employees!

Body Shop Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, automotive collision training highly preferred
• Commitment to excellent customer service

• Selected candidate must be able to perform all job functions that require bending, standing, lifting, and reaching
