Job summary

Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic Body Shop Technician for Collision Carlisle. You will assess collision damage and perform body repairs on vehicles, testing to determine structural and mechanical issues, and work with the estimator to price repairs.

Responsibilities include straightening bent panels, replacing parts, dent removal, and refinishing metals with various tools. Collision experience is preferred; air-conditioned shops provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; automotive collision training preferred.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• High productivity while maintaining high quality work.
• Ability to work well with co-workers.
• Strong detail orientation.
• Ability to understand manufacturer's specifications.
• 5+ years of body technician experience.
• Selected candidate must be able to bend, stand, lift and reach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate collision damage and perform body repair on vehicles.
• Test and inspect vehicles to determine damage extent.
• Collaborate with estimator to determine repair costs.
• Repair bent bodies, replace parts, remove dents and refinishing the metal using a variety of tools.
