Job summary

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Body Technician to join our Collision team in Lancaster, PA. This role involves evaluating collision damage and performing body repairs while coordinating with an estimator on repair costs.

Faulkner provides training and clear paths for growth within a family-owned organization. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in collision repair, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate collision damage and perform body repair on vehicles.
• Test and inspect vehicles to determine damage extent across structural, body, mechanical and interior areas.
• Collaborate with the estimator to determine repair costs.
• Carry out repairs including straightening bent panels, replacing body parts, removing dents, and refinishing surfaces with appropriate tools.

As a Body Shop Technician, you will be tasked with evaluating collision damage and performing body repair on vehicles. This process begins with testing and checking vehicles to determine the amount of structural, body, mechanical and interior damage. You will also work with the estimator to determine the cost of the repair. Repairs to the vehicle may include straightening bent bodies, replacing body parts, removing dents and damaged panels and refinishing the metal using a variety of tools. Collision experience is preferred, but we will consider graduates from respected automotive collision programs as well. Become part of the Faulkner Family and join our team!
