Job summary

Cascade Collision Repair, part of Quality Collision Group, is seeking a Blueprint Technician to perform detailed vehicle disassembly and damage analysis, creating a complete repair plan before production begins.

You will identify required labor, parts, procedures, and documentation, collaborating with estimators and production leadership to ensure plans align with OEM procedures and insurer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of collision repair, collision estimating, blueprinting, or auto body repair experience required.
• Hands-on knowledge of vehicle disassembly, damage identification, and collision repair procedures required.
• Working knowledge of OEM repair procedures, DRP requirements, and insurer documentation standards.
• Experience with CCC ONE or comparable collision estimating software required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle teardown and inspection to identify visible and hidden collision damage.
• Document and photograph damage for repair orders, estimates, supplements, and insurance requirements.
• Create complete repair plans or blueprints using OEM procedures and approved estimating practices.
• Identify required parts, labor operations, sublets, calibrations, and repair procedures.
• Communicate repair plans with estimators, production managers, parts staff, and technicians.
• Update blueprints when additional damage or repair requirements are discovered.
• Verify that repair plans support safe, complete, and efficient repairs.
• Help reduce supplements and production delays by identifying repair needs early in the process.
