Job summary

Quality Collision Group LLC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair collision-damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using OEM procedures. You will perform structural and non-structural repairs, replace components and panels, and ensure safety and quality while meeting production goals.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, proficiency in welding, reading repair plans, and adherence to I-CAR standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto body repair experience in collision repair.
• Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and manufacturer requirements.
• Working knowledge of I-CAR repair standards.
• Experience with structural and non-structural repairs, panel replacement, welding, and disassembly/reassembly.
• Ability to read and follow repair plans, estimates, and OEM procedures.
• Commitment to repair quality, safety, productivity, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and review the approved repair plan before starting work.
• Perform structural and non-structural repairs per OEM procedures.
• Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall damaged components and panels.
• Recommend repair-versus-replace options based on safety and quality.
• Measure, pull, weld, perform metal repair, panel alignment, and related work.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and production timelines.
• Communicate additional damage or repair concerns to the estimator or production team.
• Maintain tools, equipment, PPE, and a safe organized work area.

Job Summary The Auto Body Technician repairs collision-damaged vehicles and restores them to pre-accident condition using OEM repair procedures, industry standards, and approved repair plans. This role performs structural and non-structural repairs, component replacement, fit and finish work, and quality checks while meeting production expectations. The technician is responsible for completing safe, accurate, and timely repairs that support customer satisfaction and repair quality.

Responsibilities

• Strong commitment to repair quality, safety, productivity, and continued learning.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to safely operate collision repair equipment.
