Quality Collision Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Utah to repair collision-damaged vehicles using OEM procedures and industry standards. The role covers structural and non-structural repairs, component replacement, fit and finish, and quality checks to meet production goals and customer satisfaction.

The position emphasizes OEM procedure expertise, I-CAR standards, and safe, precise workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional auto body repair experience in collision repair.
• Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and manufacturer-specific repair requirements.
• Working knowledge of I-CAR repair standards and accepted collision repair methods.
• Experience with structural and non-structural repair, panel replacement, welding, and vehicle disassembly/reassembly.
• Ability to read and follow repair plans, estimates, and OEM procedures.
• Commitment to repair quality, safety, productivity, and continued learning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and review the approved repair plan before beginning work.
• Perform structural and non-structural body repairs in accordance with OEM procedures.
• Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall damaged components and panels.
• Make repair-versus-replace recommendations based on safety and quality.
• Perform measuring, pulling, welding, metal repair, panel alignment, and related body operations.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and on-time production.
• Communicate additional damage or repair concerns to the estimator or production team.
• Maintain tools, equipment, PPE, and a safe, organized work area.

The technician is responsible for completing safe, accurate, and timely repairs that support customer satisfaction and repair quality.
