Job summary

Classic Collision in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team. You will disassemble vehicles, identify required repairs, plan work sequences, and collaborate with estimators to ensure a complete repair plan is delivered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years of collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Strong customer service attitude with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged area and store parts safely.
• Mend damaged panels, weld or replace parts, and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before handing to Paint Dept.
• Repair or replace defective parts and inspect and test drive vehicles for safety compliance.
• Perform other related duties and comply with SOPs.
