Job summary

Classic Collision in Cornelius, NC is seeking an experienced auto body technician to disassemble, repair, and reassemble damaged vehicles. You will follow work orders, identify required repairs, and collaborate with collision estimators to achieve a 100% repair plan that meets safety and quality standards.

You should have 2–3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and preferably I-CAR/ASE certifications. This role emphasizes teamwork, precision, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Background check must be successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist estimators in damage assessment and planning.
• Plan work procedures following work orders.
• Repair body and weld/reassemble parts with attention to gaps and finishes.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair/replace damaged components.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with SOPs, safety rules, and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
