Job summary

Classic Collision in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join a growing team committed to safety, quality, integrity, and heart in every vehicle we repair.

You will disassemble, assess damage, plan repairs, remove upholstery and components when needed, weld and fit replacement parts, inspect vehicles, and drive for safety and quality, with a culture that values teamwork and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Customer-focused attitude; able to work well in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.
• Integrity, respect and accountability at every level.
• Customer service - build satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicles to assist estimators in assessing damage.
• Identify repairs to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedures following work orders.
• Remove upholstery and parts to access damaged areas.
• Mend body damage and fit replacement parts to industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools safely (welder, sander, etc.).
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
• Comply with safety procedures and company guidelines.
