Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a skilled auto body technician to join our team. You will perform collision repairs, follow inspection plans, and ensure quality workmanship on vehicles in the Wilmington, NC area.

Qualified candidates have 2–3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a focus on safety and customer service. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
2–3 years collision repair experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.
Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

Disassemble vehicle to assist Collision Estimators with assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
Ensure all needed repairs are identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
Plan work procedure by following the work order for all listed operations.
Remove upholstery and access damaged area; store parts properly to prevent damage.
Repair body by hammering, filling dents, and welding; fit and reassemble after painting.
Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, etc.).
Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
Adhere to all SOPs, safety rules, and company guidelines.
