Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician in North Carolina to disassemble, assess, and repair vehicles. You will follow repair plans, operate a range of tools, and ensure quality from inspection to reassembly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist Collision Estimators and plan a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure by following work orders.
• Remove upholstery, components to access damaged area; store parts to avoid damage.
• Repair or replace damaged parts; fit and weld as needed; reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety/quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; comply with SOPs and safety rules.
