Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedures following the work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical/hydraulic components to access damaged area; store parts to prevent damage.
• Mend damaged body by hammering, filling dents, and welding; ensure gaps and fits meet standards; replace parts in position and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, torch, hammers, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before handing to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; comply with SOPs and safety rules.
