Classic Collision is seeking an Auto Body Technician to contribute to high-quality repairs at our Georgia location. The role involves disassembly, dent repair, welding, and reassembly while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of collision repair experience, a valid driver's license, and preference for I-CAR/ASE certifications. Join a growing team with paid weekly, ongoing training, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and planning repairs.
• Identify repairs to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure following work orders for all operations.
• Remove upholstery, components, and access panels to reach damaged areas; store parts securely.
• Repair or replace damaged parts; weld, hammer, or fill as needed; ensure gaps and fits meet standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welders, torches, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting.
• Inspect and test drive to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and safety guidelines.
