Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Ridgeland, MS to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble, while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador.

Expect to work with a team to meet KPIs and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair or replace glass, interior parts, and weld/attach components.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
