Job summary

The Boyd Group in Pascagoula, MS is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous repair work. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles and help meet KPIs while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair; strong tool proficiency and teamwork are essential. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents; apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove and replace damaged sections and parts.
• Weld or attach parts and repaint with factory or equivalent paint.
