Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Garden City, GA to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence. You will work with the team to meet KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador.

Skills include reading job orders, using tools like plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and paint applications, with safety and diligence in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using body repair tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer experience through quality vehicle repair.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and ensure work meets safety and quality KPIs.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to confirm correct workmanship.
