Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring speed, quality, and exceptional customer service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with team KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador.

You will work with tools like cutters and pliers to fix bodies, realign frames, replace parts, and apply paint to factory standards. The role emphasizes safety and accuracy in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins when needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replaces or repairs glass, windshields, and interior parts.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles to factory specs.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects completed work.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
