Capgemini is seeking a Data Catalog & Lineage Specialist to lead enterprise data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage initiatives in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on implementing Collibra, while ensuring data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant across cloud and on‑prem platforms.

You will collaborate with data engineering, governance, and business stakeholders to embed governance practices and enable end‑to‑end visibility into data flows, including PII handling and regulatory

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Collibra (Data Catalog & Lineage).
• Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with AWS data architecture (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
• Expertise in Snowflake and relational databases.
• Proven experience implementing data lineage and metadata management solutions.
• Ability to identify and manage PII and sensitive data elements.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Experience in cross‑functional and enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data catalog and lineage solutions using Collibra.
• Develop and maintain metadata management frameworks and standards across the organization.
• Enable end‑to‑end data lineage across cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant.
• Drive adoption of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Identify and classify PII and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
• Integrate metadata and lineage capabilities into AWS‑based data platforms and Snowflake environments.
• Support data quality, data stewardship, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross‑functional teams on data governance and lineage strategies.
