Job summary

Themesoft Inc. is seeking a Data Catalog & Lineage Specialist to design and implement enterprise-wide metadata management and data lineage solutions using Collibra.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Collibra, AWS-based data architectures, Snowflake, and relational databases, working with cross-functional teams to ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and compliant across cloud and on-premise platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Collibra Data Catalog & Lineage experience.
• Strong data governance frameworks knowledge.
• Experience with AWS data architecture (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
• Expertise in Snowflake and relational databases.
• Experience implementing data lineage and metadata management solutions.
• Ability to identify PII and sensitive data elements.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Experience in cross-functional and enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise data catalog and lineage using Collibra.
• Develop and maintain metadata management frameworks and standards.
• Enable end-to-end data lineage across cloud and on-premise systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data is discoverable and compliant.
• Drive adoption of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Identify and classify PII and ensure data protection policies are followed.
• Integrate metadata and lineage into AWS-based data platforms and Snowflake environments.
• Support data quality, stewardship, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams on governance and lineage strategies.
