Job summary

Allen Community College in Iola, Kansas is seeking a Head Cheer and Dance Coach to direct and coach the program for the 10-month academic year. Responsibilities include recruiting, fundraising, and leading the team within the NJCAA and Kansas Jayhawk Conference.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree with collegiate coaching or participation experience, and possess a valid driver’s license. Employment is contingent upon a background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Participation and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required. Employment is subject to successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of directing and coaching the cheer and dance program in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and the NJCAA, including recruiting, fund raising, and coaching.
