Performs assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program. Typically considered a Senior. Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2027 Systems Engineer Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Intern. In this role, you will perform duties which incorporate the analysis of technical and obsolescence data such as Bill of Material (BOM) and other industry reports, as well as inventory management and coordination, in order to identify potential impacts to a program. also manage, review and disposition DMS Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLs), and develop, coordinate, and support the presentation of DMS Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to the program Customer. In addition, the candidate will be a stakeholder in the maintenance and development process of various tools which are used by the team for tracking, coordinating, and executing DMS mitigation cases. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of using relational database bases. Proficiency with MS Office products and ability to read/comprehend detailed technical data. Must be a US citizen.

• Experience in Systems Engineering disciplines with understanding of the total lifecycle (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification, production and sustainment) including the following key competencies: Supplier Interface, Proposal Analysis, Risk and Opportunity Assessment
• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or Components Engineering with emphasis upon Mission Systems Integration.
• Understanding and strong appreciation for practicing and developing Standard Work processes and tools.
• Understanding and/or Industry Experience with Relational Databases

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67
