Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Adult Education, English, or related field.
• 3 graduate hours in an education course focused on adult learners or related topics.
• Experience teaching ESL/ELL/ESOL and other adult populations is preferred.
• Master’s degree and Texas college readiness experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach Career Pathways support courses and ITP classes using in-person, hybrid, and online delivery.
• Strengthen academic skills, English language proficiency, and workplace readiness for students.
• Collaborate on curriculum development, program review, and assessment of outcomes.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and course materials in the LMS and campus systems.
• Support and mentor new faculty and promote inclusive teaching practices.
