Job summary

Austin Community College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to deliver Integrated Reading & Writing courses (INRW) and Co-Reqs to a diverse student body. You will design engaging, discipline-appropriate instruction and provide timely feedback aligned with department outcomes.

Responsibilities include teaching, evaluating student progress, maintaining office hours for student success, and staying current in the field through professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with graduate coursework in Reading and Writing and adult education focus.
• Master's degree in Reading, Developmental Education or Literacy preferred.
• Experience with online learning systems and diverse adult learners is advantageous.

• Prepare and teach INRW courses and Co-Reqs to a multicultural student population.
• Utilize varied instructional strategies aligned with course outcomes.
