Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credits with a 2.5 GPA or two years of full-time instructional experience in a K-12 school may substitute education requirements.
• Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of subject assigned and ability to adapt to school environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate tutoring sessions and use technology to improve student achievement.
• Implement a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Help shape a positive school culture and supportive learning environment.
• Establish relationships with students and families based on trust and respect.
• Identify concepts to teach or reteach from student notes and discussions.
• Conduct tutorial sessions in math and science or language arts.
• Support the writing process and study skills across subjects.
• Collaborate with the College counseling team on student progress.
• Spend 10–20 hours per week on-site.
