Job Summary

Customer service/reception for student success office at the GE Road Complex.

Perform tasks such as distributing mail, answering the telephone, and other general office duties. Assistance with student recruitment particularly during information sessions and events. Assistance with event and programming planning and preparation. This person will also assist with student engagement and social media communication initiatives. The student in this role will give tours of the new engineering building to prospective students and families.

The student employee will need to demonstrate strong knowledge and implementation of excellent customer service in this position.

Pay Rate

$15.00/hour

Required Qualifications

-Must be an active Illinois State University student in good academic and disciplinary standing at the time of the application and throughout employment


-Must be able to commit to the position for at least two consecutive semesters

Work Hours

6-12 hours per week.Availability between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday (hours will vary)
