Job summary

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mathematics or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in mathematics including algebra/topology/logic and analysis.
- Math-related degrees acceptable (e.g., Mathematics Education, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Engineering).
- Combination of experience and education acceptable to perform duties.
Responsibilities
- Teaches assigned mathematics courses.
- Participates in curriculum development and maintenance.
- Provides academic support and advising to students including maintaining office hours.
- Participates in college governance via committees.
- Participates in faculty search processes.
- Engages in college and community service activities.
- Keeps up with instructional trends and best practices.
- Coordinates and plans courses according to approved syllabi.
- Maintains accurate scholastic records and attendance.
