Northwestern Mutual is offering a College Financial Representative internship in Boca Raton, FL. You’ll build a financial planning practice with guidance from a Fortune 500 company, while balancing classes and work.

The program provides weekly coaching, access to exclusive products, and opportunities to obtain licenses such as Series 6/63 or CFP®. Eligible students may interview for full-time roles on graduation.

Qualifications

• Full-time student; juniors and seniors preferred
• Entrepreneurial ambitions and curiosity for sales
• Highly involved on campus (leader, athlete, campus orgs, student government, etc)
• Excellent time-management skills
• Interest in financial literacy and planning tools
• Business savvy and desire to increase critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities

• Learn prospecting and networking to build client base
• Develop and execute a business strategy
• Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand financial goals
• Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations
• Gain exposure to planning software platforms
• Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings
• Prepare for insurance licensing (life, health, and disability)
• Pursue opportunities to interview for full-time roles after graduation
