Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Elementary Education, Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a closely related field.
• Teaching experience in an elementary school, college, or other educational setting.
• Knowledge of elementary education, curriculum development, instructional methods, and student assessment.
• Ability to provide effective instruction to diverse learners.
• Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and instructional technology skills.
• Commitment to student success, culturally responsive education, and the mission of CCCC.
• At least five years of elementary classroom teaching experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop and teach college-level Elementary Education courses, including foundations, child development, instructional methods, and classroom management.
• Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with program outcomes and standards.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to promote student success, degree completion, and transfer.
