Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a major in Natural Resources or a related field.
• Depending on disciplinary focus area, courses could include Ecology, Environmental Issues, Environmental Sampling, Geology, Soil Science, Wildlife Identification, Plant Identification, and Natural Resource Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction to facilitate student learning.
• Develop culturally relevant course curricula and syllabi by established deadlines.
• Participate in program, course, and institutional learning assessment; articulate outcomes and evaluate student performance.
• Work with Student Services staff to support students.
• Select textbooks and/or online resources to meet outcomes.
• Be available to students during office hours and maintain records in Empower per FERPA.
