Dickinson College is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Cook for its Dining Services team. You will work across production stations, following standardized recipes to produce high quality meals.

You will assist the chef with recipe validation and maintain clean, safe work areas in line with HACCP and OSHA guidelines. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and availability for varied shifts starting early in the morning through the evening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred or obtainable within one year.

Responsabilités

• Produce high quality food products using approved cooking methods and standardized recipes.
• Assist the chef with recipe validation and yield calculations.
• Operate at multiple production stations in kitchen, dining hall, and events.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment per HACCP/OSHA policies.
• Perform pre-meal/advanced prep and JIT production across cooking methods.
• Direct servers on portion size, plating, and garnishing.
• Adhere to safety requirements and cooperate with staff during emergencies.
