The position is a 10-month contract with a full-time equivalency of 1.0 FTE and requires a Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to processing.

Qualifications

• Advising juniors and seniors on postsecondary options using data points.
• Reviewing college applications, essays, and letters of recommendation.
• Collaborating with AVID and others on postsecondary planning.
• Creating college and career workshops (FAFSA, financial aid, admissions).
• Maintaining a database of matriculation/postsecondary plans and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Advise Juniors and Seniors on postsecondary plans based on data points.
• Assist students with college admissions including essays and letters of recommendation.
• Work with AVID recruitment on college exploration and planning.
• Explore multiple postsecondary options including college, career, and apprenticeships.
• Create and lead college and career workshops (FAFSA, financial aid, admissions).
