  • Facilitate communication among faculty, staff and RFCUNY offices to ensure timely grant processing.
  • Provide guidance and training on compliance, financial management and reporting procedures.

This individual is a team player with a willingness to learn and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities.Duties and Responsibilities:Under supervision, performs miscellaneous clerical, administrative, research, or other work related to the operation of a college or other unit where such work is required on a part-time basis or for a period of limited duration.Performs routine clerical work; may answer and attend to telephone calls; maintain records; operate office machines (such as a copier); sort and distribute mail; issue keys and identity cards, act as a messenger, and perform related tasks as required.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ORSP administrative processes.Facilitate communication among faculty, staff, Research Foundation personnel, and institutional offices to ensure timely processing of grant-related transactions.Provide guidance and training to faculty and staff on compliance requirements, financial management practices, and reporting procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications and Core Competencies:Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Excellent skills in writing, interpersonal, customer service, and presentation.Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and changing needs and shifting priorities.Detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.Pay Range:$21 hourlyRFCUNY BenefitsEqual Employment Opportunity StatementThe Research Foundation of the City University of New York is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Americans with Disabilities Act/E-Verify Employer.
