Job summary

Minds Matter Boston is a nonprofit dedicated to helping low-income students gain admission to four‑year colleges. The Program Manager for 10th/11th grade mentees will oversee program operations and collaborate with staff, volunteers, students, and school partners to ensure successful programming.

The role emphasizes equity, collaboration, and a student-centered approach, with responsibilities spanning program management, recruitment, and advisory councils, in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years work experience in educational or nonprofit settings.
• Experience with CRM databases, such as Salesforce, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing complex tasks and multiple projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of Saturday programming for 10th and 11th grade mentees and mentors with support from OC and ADCA.
• Oversee the application and placement processes for Junior Summer programs and manage volunteers.
• Oversee mentee onboarding and exiting and student concerns process.
• Manage data related to summer programs, student and volunteer retention.
• Lead student and family advisory councils.
• Build relationships with high school partners and develop engagement strategies for recruitment.
